Film scanning The CanoScan LiDE 600F comes with a versatile film adapter unit (FAU), which when attached, allows you to scan 6 x 35mm negatives in a single operation. Automatic retouching Using infrared scanning detection, FARE Level 3 technology automatically restores scratched, damaged or faded film, saving hours of manual retouching. It also reduces graininess resulting from high speed film, and includes backlight compensation. QARE Level 3 performs the same functions for photo prints.
